On October 05, 2011, a MOU Signing Ceremony between BELTEI International Institute and Cambridge Tutors College, UK was held at the conference hall of BELTEI International Institute, Campus 9 (Stung Meanchey). It was presided over by H.E. LY CHHENG, the Director-General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute and Mr. Mario Di Clemente, Principal of Cambridge Tutors College and participated by more than 1000 attendees who are management teams, teachers and students of BELTEI International Institute.

H.E. LY CHHENG, the Director-General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute stated that BELTEI International Institute was founded on January 01, 2002. Currently, the Institute has expanded to 11 campuses in Phnom Penh city. There are 20,147 students, (9,846 females) studying at BELTEI International Institute. The Institute has created the BELTEI Group in accordance with a certificate from the Ministry of Commerce, No 1812BN>ntk dated on May 17, 2007. It provides for 3 essential services :1-BELTEI Construction 2- BELTEI Tour 3- BELTEI Education, which is divided into 3 parts – BELTEI International Institute, BELTEI International University and BELTEI International Relations.

A–BELTEI International Institute All buildings are built with 7 floors and there are 5 main programs: 1- General Education (Grade 1-12) 2- English as a Second Language (All levels) 3- Faculty of Foreign Languages 4- Computer Training Courses 5- International Test Preparation Courses, TOEFL, and ICDL.

B –BELTEI International University This building is going to be built with 12 floors with 6 main faculties: 1-Faculty of Business Administration 2-Faculty of Education, Arts, and Humanities3-Faculty of Laws and Social Science 4-Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality 5-Faculty of Engineering and Architecture6-Faculty of Information Technology and Science
C –BELTEI International Relations
BELTEI International Relations is in BELTEI International Institute, Campus 10 (AngTeuk Olympic).The International Relations Office is established for 4 main purposes such as: 1- Overseas Study Service 2. Student Exchange Program 3. Field Study and 4. Institutional Development.

Before, BELTEI International Institute signed MOU with 4 popular universities such as Regent’s College, London, York Saint John of the United Kingdom, UNIVERSITI KULA LUMPUR, and TAYLOR University of Malysia. Obviously this year, through Oukha Ly Chheng Scholarship, BELTIE International Institute tested 3 outstanding students to study overseas; two students have studied Master Degree of Business Administration in Regent’s College, London, and another outstanding student has studied Bachelor of Economics in Cambridge Tutors College in the United Kingdom.
The MOU signed between BELTEI International Institute and Cambridge Tutors College, UK today is aimed to co-operate in the patterns as follows: 1-Support for each other’s international offices (BELTEI and Cambridge) in order to transfer students to study at the Cambridge Tutors College. 2- Consultation in the development of International links with other institutions. 3-Joint training of International office staff.4-Conducting seminars & presentations to inform pupils and students of the educational and career opportunities open to them through our joint collaboration. 5-Promoting other academic cooperation as mutually agreed.6- Cambridge Tutors College will provide one 100% tuition -fee scholarship to BELTEI students for a two – year Foundation course every second year.7- BELTEI pupils will be given a special discount from 25% to 50% of tuition fees to study at the Cambridge Tutors College, UK via the CTC Scholarships for BELTEI High School Students.

Through signing this MOU today, we strongly believe that it will build up a better and closer collaboration between BELTEI International Institute and Cambridge Tutors College, UK in order to transfer the students to peruse their study successfully.

On that wonderful occasion, Mr. Mario Di Clemente, Principal of Cambridge Tutors College, , stated that he was very happy because BELTEI International Institute conducted to join in Memorandums the above between Cambridge Tutors College, UK. It shows that BELTEI International Institute has international study programs, and it is the most leading and well-known private educational institution in Cambodia because the students who graduate from BELTEI have the real capacities both Khmer General Education and Languages, and they are able to pursue their study at other Universities in Malaysia, especially at Cambridge Tutors College.

Finally, His Excellency Ly Chheng and Mr. Mario Di Clemente signed the MOU and presented souvenirs to each other.
