York St John University

I. General Situation

York St John is a university which was established in 1841, firstly called Church College for Teacher Training. Having experiences over a century on education, York St John was legally announced as university on 01, October, 2006. It offers many subjects which have been well-organized for students' choices both Bachelor and Master such as Film and TV Production, Education, Business Management, Tourism and health.

1. Bachelor Programs

Entry Requirements

- Hold certificate of A Level or GCSE

- IELTS = 6.0 or TOEFL iBT = 80

2. Master Programs

Entry Requirements

- Hold a Bachelor Degree awarded by Accredited Institutions

- IELTS = 6.0 or TOEFL iBT = 80

Notification

- Programs start in September and January.

- For bachelor, it takes 3 years.

- For Master, it takes 1 years.

- English program is also provided.

IV. Accommodation

Students do not need to concern about accommodation because the university has offers them the optional accommodation services, especially those locations are close to university's compound which spends only 20 minutes on feet.

V. Student Life

The university has built many buildings such as Libraries, Halls, Clinic, Bookstores and restaurants to assist students with their daily lives. Additionally, the university has also managed supporting teams to facilitate and to counsel students during their studies and living throughout academic years.

VI. Other Opportunities

Students have the opportunities to get working experiences and can make money from their part time and voluntary jobs or attending the social activities which have been organized by the university.
