On June 05-09,2024, BELTEI International University organized The 7th BELTEI International Collaboration Conference 2024 (The 7th BICC 2024) under the topic of “The Scholarship Opportunities and Preparation for Overseas Study Life” and The 1st BELTEI International University-Research Forum 2024 under the topic of “Roles of Higher Education Institutions In Promoting Research & Innovation For Economics Growth” with the high presidency of His Excellency Dr. LY Chheng, Member of the National Assembly for Phnom Penh Capital City, Founder and Director-General of BELTEI Group and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BELTEI International University with the participated by His Excellency, Lok Chumteav representatives of Ministries-Institutions, as well as presentations from 33 partner universities from 18 countries around the world to BELTEI students and parents with over 12,000 in total, in person and via Zoom Cloud Meeting.

His Excellency LY Navuth, the President of BELTEI International University has a Remark and Report that BICC is an international conference organized by BELTEI International University with the aim of strengthening cooperation with partner universities abroad that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to contribute in order to improving the quality of education in Cambodia for international recognition, focusing on seven key points:

1- Disseminate culture, education and economy, as well as other sectors of Cambodia to the world

2- Increase and strengthen cooperation and partnerships with private and public educational institutions both in the country and abroad

3- Promote famous partner institutions in various countries to Cambodian students, especially BELTEI students

4- Establish a communication platform for all participating institutions

5- Encourage and increase the number of Cambodian students to study abroad

6- Disseminate scholarship opportunities to BELTEI students as well as students across the country to study abroad

7- Contribute to the development of human resources in Cambodia with the Royal Government, which has the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as its staff.

His Excellency President continued that in order to contribute to improving the quality of research to be more effective and internationally recognized standards, the University has organized the "First Research Forum" with the participation of presentations and discussions to share experiences and Research from many national-international speakers as well. The closing ceremony of the conference also shared the experiences of the study abroad life by a Grade-A former Student, Oknha Ly Chheng Scholarship student who is Mr. Keo Piseth, who graduated from San Mateo Colleges of Silicon Valley and the University of California of the United States, as well as traditional Khmer cultural performances. On that occasion, His Excellency Dr. LY Chheng Informed the conference on peace, political stability and progress in all sectors of Cambodia, including education and economy, especially the prominence of fame in the international arena of Cambodia under the right leadership of the Royal Government of the 7th legislature that has Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister and many other leaders, all of whom are doctors-intellectuals with high knowledge, morality and high virtues, who will continue to lead the country towards achieving Cambodia's development vision, a country which has a high-middle-income country by 2030 and become a high-income country by 2050. His Excellency Dr. also thanked all 33 educational institutions for taking the time to attend this important conference and to present their university information to Cambodian students. His Excellency Dr. added that the BICC will contribute significantly to increasing the capacity of human resources in Cambodia in the Digital Era, in line with the Royal Government's Pentagon strategy-Phase I, which has identified five key priority areas: people, roads, water, electricity and technology. Finally, His Excellency Dr. also encouraged all partner universities to continue to participate in the 8th BICC Conference and the 2nd Research Forum in 2025 to jointly strengthen the quality of education both national and international levels, especially to continue to strengthen good cooperation with each for the better.
